Until CHRIST be formed in you

To evade any confusion, the author recommends the use of the King James Version of the Bible when analyzing the provided citations.

All your works and struggles end here when Christ gets fully developed in you. In conversion, your spirit conceives Christ (Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever 1Pet 1:23the life of man, which is the Word of GodJohn 1:4/Rev 19:13that divine umbilical cord through which man once received life, and that got severed due to sin, gets re-established at spiritual new birth). In Adam, your spirit was deprived (Rom 5:12-)(man became unsound); but in last Adam, your spirit gets resuscitated, so to speak (Christ dwells in your heart by faith – Eph 3:17 – but Christ having total sway in you is something different an occurrence – that’s why we see Paul making known to the believers in Galatia* (who were not showing signs of maturity – they were disobedientGal 3:1 trying to become self-righteous by complying to the LawGal 3:9,10 – babes in Christ1Cor 3:1-3/Eph 4:14who were unskilful in the word of righteousnessHeb 5:13), *that he travail in birth again until Christ BE FORMED IN THEMGal 4:19).

This is a place of total renunciation; being crucified with Christ then only becomes a reality (I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me Gal 2:20) – where you for certain would know/ experience that the world is crucified unto you and you unto the world – Gal 6:14 – In every individual there is a residue of the spirit of this world (that’s the reason why people still love the world and things that are in the world – that is where the circumcision of the heart comes to play), but to the totally consecrated vessels the second phase of the process of sanctification of the Spirit will lead them to much sufferings in the flesh, thus flushing out all that we’ve absorbed from this world – 1Pet 4:1 – Where you would experience the nails and thorns, where everything of you becomes obsolete, where you get to experience the fierce resistance, where your faith gets tried (1Pet 1:7), where you would be led through the fiery trials of faith, where you would become partakers of Christ’ sufferings (1Pet 4:12-14/Heb 11:24-27), where you would have to endure as sons the righteous judgment of Godto make you worthy of the kingdom of God – 2Thess 1:4,5, for you to become one with Christ in spirit – he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit –1Cor 6:17 – this is that rest Jesus is talking about – At this point, your flesh with its affections and lusts gets crucified – Gal 5:24 – where the life of Jesus would begin to manifest in your mortal flesh –2Cor 4:10,11 – where you would begin to walk as Jesus walked (according to the spirit) –1John 2:6 – and love one another as Jesus loved – John 15:12 – being rooted and grounded in love – Eph 3:17 – having purified the soul unto unfeigned love of the brethren, loving each other with a pure heart fervently –1Pet 1:22/4:8.

This is where you would have no control whatsoever of your life. This is where you would come to experience the inner conflict when the second phase of sanctification* (2Thess 2:13/1Pet 1:2/5:10/1Thess 4:3,4/2Cor 7:1) *takes its effect. This is where you would come to the realization that you have a nature within that contradicts the word of God and in rebellion with Christ. This is where the Spirit would expose the real selfish, dirty you. This is the place where you would come to grips with the fact that you are unworthy to stand before God Almighty and that you are the utmost sinful person who truly needs the Saviour’s continual assistance to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ – Phil 3:12,14,16. This is where you would realize that you are a sojourner/a stranger here on earth, because sanctification is nothing but the circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, through the baptism of fire – and here at this point, you would feel a numbness to everything of this world – the verse “the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world”(Gal 6:14) would literally become a reality.

Beyond any doubt, our spirit got revived in new-birth, but our soul is not, and must be brought to complete subjection to Christ and must be renewed every day – 2Cor 7:1/10:5/Eph 4:23/Rom 12:2; also the vile body* (the earthly house of this tabernacle2Cor 5:1,4) *that we dwell in, isn’t reinstated (Phil 3:21). Hence, my belly became bitter as I ate of the bread of life – Rev 10:9,10. In spiritual infancy, we would take things for granted and are unskilful in the word of righteousness – Heb 5:13/1Cor 13:11. Otherwise, what’s the purpose of paving a way to the throne of grace to “obtain mercy and finding grace”? Why would God authorize a high-priest and an advocate even now? Heb 2:17/1John 2:1.

Our hearts are deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9. I see then that, evil is present with me; that is in the members of my body warring against the law of my mind wanting to take me captive again to the law of sin – Rom 7:21-23. This is where you would come to know not only the significance of the grace of God but also the need to grow in grace – 2Pet 1:2/3:18/James 4:6/Heb 12:15,28 – and unless we put on Christ or put off the corrupt self – Eph 4:22/2Cor 7:1 – and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save our souls from its depravity – James 1:21 – and let the life of Christ, the spirit-man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness – Eph 4:24 – be strengthened with might – Eph 3:16 – we are deceiving ourselves – James 1:22.

It is true that there is no condemnation for the imputed Adamic sin – Rom 8:1/5:19 – provided, we live after the Spirit – KJV. God did justify us when we believed in Christ, and by faith alone, it was apportioned. Now we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ – Rom 5:1 – the times of this ignorance God winked at – Acts 17:30/ the sins that are past – Rom 5: 19/Heb 9:15 – through the tender mercy of our God/ through the forbearance of God – Luke 1:78 – And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross – Col 2:13-14 – our conscience is purged clean – above all, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father (Gal 4:6).

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps (1Pet 2:21). He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked(1 John 2:6/3:16). And that ye would walk worthy of God (1 Thess 2:12)- that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing (Col 1:10) – that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk in newness of life (Rom 6:4) – How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation – Heb 2:3/10:39/Rom 11:22 – The heir as long as he is a child, differs nothing from a servant – Gal 4:1 – and the babe in spirit is deemed as yet carnal (living after the flesh, not putting on Christ, not living after the Spirit, disregarding the renewal of the mind, not putting off the corrupt self, not receiving with meekness the engrafted word) –1Cor 3:1-3 – such a one is in the servant’s list (unprofitable) – Philemon 1:10,11,15,16/Matt 25:30/ Rom 3:12 – and the servant abides not in the house forever – John 8:35.

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit – John 3:8 – By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place, which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went – Heb 11:8. This is where your feet leave the physical realm (the range of vision – the visual perception) – Ezek 47:3-5. For we walk by faith, not by sight – 2Cor 5:7/Heb 10:38. Let us, therefore, go on unto perfection – Heb 6:1 – Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Eph 4:13).
