JESUS CHRIST – The Son of Man/The Son of God.

Jesus Christ is 100% man (fully human), who possessed a sinful flesh like our’s (Rom 8:3/ Heb 2:17/4:15), yet without sin (he did no sin1Pet 2:22who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners – Heb 7:26,27 – who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God – Heb 9:14). Know that “Sin” is the transgression of the law. He was a righteous man from the east – Isaiah 41:2 – who fulfilled all the law – Matt 5:17. In a nutshell: The Holy One and the Just (the Son of God)* (Acts 3:14)(there is no unrighteousness in him – John 7:18/Ps 92:15he is the Lord from heaven1Cor 15:47), *took upon Him this frail and sinful flesh thus carrying the sins of the whole world. One should understand that when it is said that “yet without sin” (Heb 4:15); for before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good – Isaiah 7:14-16 – the captain of our salvation (the Son of man) was made perfect through sufferings – Heb 2:10 – he learned obedience by the things which he suffered – Heb 5:8 – being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him – Heb 5:9. He through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God – Heb 9:14 – And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him (Luke 2:40). And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death (Phil 2:8) “death” is nothing but the effect of possessing a sinful flesh – by taking upon Himself (The Almighty – The Word) the human body (The Son of man – Yesu Kristo) he took upon him the sin of the whole world. He was crucified through weakness, fear etc.. Heb 5:7/2Cor 13:4/Luke 22:44/Psalm 22

The word “sin” holds no gravity unless there is an enacted law (Rom 7). For sin is nothing but unrighteousness. Whatever that is not right for God, that is sin or contrary to the righteousness of God or what His holiness/purity can’t tolerate. All unrighteousness is sin (1 John 5:17). Through Adam sin entered into the world and all men got condemned; and sin was not imputed until the law came (Rom 5:12,13). Ergo, when it is mentioned “yet without sin” it is talking about keeping of “the law of Moses” under which Jesus was made (Gal 4:4). The law is holy and the commandment holy and just and good – Rom 7:12 – and Jesus magnified the law and made it honorable – Isaiah 42:21 – What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? Job 15: 14

When it is said: And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless (Luke 1:6); it doesn’t necessarily mean that they were sinless, but they kept the laws of God and were found blameless. Jesus (the Son of man) also kept his Father’s commandments to abide in His love (John 15:10). Christ, through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God (Hebrews 9:14). Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense when we are told that, for we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities and tempted like as we are, that we may come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need; being tempted, he is able to succor (render assistance to, bring comfort to, protect) them that are tempted (Heb 2:18/4:15,16). Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead – Romans 1:3-4; for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him (John 3:34).

Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of man came from a family tree that included incest, prostitution, adultery, and murder. If you study the Old Testament carefully you would come to know this. Only a kinsman (blood relative) can redeem usso he too is from the same lineage of Adam (according to the flesh), which proves that His body was taken from man – of the tribe of Judah.

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham (Heb 2:16) – Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people (Heb 2:17/4:15)

David the son of Jesse: Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus (Acts 13:22,23) – David who lived 1000 years before Jesus; the Bible says, Jesus is of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh – how could this be possible?

With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible – Matt 19:26 – if modern day scientists believe that they could revive the Mammoths and Dinosaurs from ages past – why would we doubt even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were (Rom 4:17)

A body hast thou prepared me (Heb 10:5)Hath not the scripture said, that Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? (John 7:42/Matt 2:6/Luke 1:31-33)of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne (Acts 2:30) – Jesus Christ of the seed of David (2 Tim 2:8) – Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh (Rom 1:3).

And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed (the seed is ChristGal 3:16), to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. Deut 30:6. The seed of David too possessed a sinful flesh like his fathers; otherwise, why would God want to circumcise the heart of the seed of Abraham?

Yes, the word of God – John 1 – never had the subjective knowledge of evil or sin – subjective means, knowledge inside Himself – He is Holy and Just – but the mortal body that he took upon was in the likeness of sinful flesh – Rom 8:3 – KJV – he was crucified through weakness – 2 Cor 13:4 – so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many,  will appear a second time, (this time) without sin, to those who are eagerly waiting for him for salvation – Heb 9:28 – WEB

Why would the Lord choose to take upon himself the form of a servant – Phil 2:7 – if His intentions were not to conform to our likeness in the first place? If he had not taken upon himself a body just like our’s what’s the advantage in becoming one? Why would he be led by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil and that he needed to be taught obedience and be made perfect? Heb 2:10/5:8,9 Why would the Scripture say that he knoweth our frame and the he was tempted just like we are etc…Why would he fear and cry like a mere man? – Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death – Heb 5:7.

My Bible says, Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil Heb 2:14.

Jesus was a fully grown adult male, the root and the offspring of David – Rev 22:16 – and it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda – Micah 5:2/Heb 7:14 – but mind you, He is also the Lord from heaven. They shall call his name what? Emmanuel – “Immanuel.” the word “El” means “God” in Hebrew.  Immanuel means “God with us.” Isaiah 7:14/8:8/Matthew 1:23 – No wonder Timothy conveys this occurance as “great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh –1 Tim 3:16. He was the same Lord that walked in the garden of Eden in the cool of the day – Gen 3:8 – in whose image was Adam formed. When the fulness of the time was come – Gal 4:4 – God send forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem us – Gal 4:4-5 – in bringing many sons unto glory – Heb 2:10And he reinstated that fellowship, which was severed by the fall of man.

Unlike us, Jesus Christ held a combination of two unique characteristics: One, he was able to taste death for us, beacuse of the sinful flesh that he took upon* (death is the effect of sin that he took upon himself on our behalf in the body of his flesh Col 1:22 he is our propitiation Rom 3:25/Heb 2:17/1John 2:2/4:10 – he is our ransom, isn’t he? 1Tim 2:6/ Mark 10:45/Hosea 13:14/Jer 31:11/Job 33:24 he is smitten of God – the wrath of God was pourd upon him – Isaiah 53 – for God hath made him to be SIN for us (his human side), who KNEW no sin (his divinity) 2Cor 5:21); *at the same time, death could not hold him down – Acts 2:24 – because he is the Lord from heaven, the Prince of Life. He said, I lay down my life, that I may take it again. No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again – John 10: 17,18.

Much scholars and theologians say that his body is from heaven and that sin could not touch him and so on…somebody give me a scripture to prove such baseless wicked concept. They feel that it is wrong to see or portray or liken the son of God with frail humanity. The problem with his own brethen and Israel in accepting this man from Galilee was this same thing – how could this frail mortal man assert that he is the Messiah? It is blasphemes, isn’t it?

He was in the world, and the world was made through him (The true light that enlightens everyone – John 1:9), and the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him (John 1:10,11) – why Israel even now cannot accept this man? The human concept of Messiah is someone without frailty – kind of a superman, so to speak. And that’s exactly the kind whom they are going to receive – John 5:43. A superman, which is the anti-Christ.

But the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was (John 7:42). His lineage is clearly depicted in the Scriptures.

If we can’t relate to him according to the flesh, he isn’t a kinsman redeemer, is he? Leviticus 25:48,49 – in that case, he isn’t the seed of Abraham, the son of David, the son of Abraham either: “Son of” means “descendant”.

One could wonder, why mere man that die is incapable of condemning sin through death. It’s simple, for mere man is incapable of giving life to him/herself; besides, if we possessed life, we wouldn’t die in the first place. But Jesus Christ, while he was 100% human-being, he was at the same time God also. It is called the “Hypostatic Union” – Unlike us, he was a unique creature (a God-man). While he took upon himself a SINFUL human body (capable of sinning, subject to weakness, pain, suffering, and even death), He possessed LIFE in Himself.

As the Father hath life in Himself, so hath he given to the Son to have LIFE in himself (John 5:26) – because I lay down my life, that I might take it again (John 10:17) – No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again (John 10:18). As a matter of fact, in Him is life – John 1:4/1John 5:11,12 – and he is the resurrection, sanctification, and redemption as well – John 11:25/1 Cor 1:30).

He is the life; and the light of men; is the truth; he is the way which leads to the truth; He is the resurrection; the door, through which one enters into the highest blessedness; he is the wisdom of God, and the power of God; he is the Word, who is God.

So by rising from the dead, Jesus Christ defeated death; and if he hath defeated death, the sting of death, which is sin – 1Cor 15:56 – also is done away in Christ.

The crux of the matter is that, this refusal to accept Jesus of Nazareth as one of us would render invalid the redemptive work of God in Christ. Caiaphas, the high priest was aware of this – Now consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not John 11:50 for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament – Heb 9:15.

The upshot of not accepting Jesus of Nazareth as one of our kind will invalidate the purpose of the redemptive work on the cross. The person of Jesus Christ is narrated in an extraordinarily convoluted way. His Spirit must give us the revelatory knowledge of him through the Scriptures; otherwise, we would end up portraying him as someone whom mankind cannot identify with. But thank God, for we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin – Heb 4:15 – ‘yet without sin” means, he did not allow his fleshly nature to transgress the law of God – instead he fulfilled the law – Matt 5:17/John 15:10/ Heb 5:8 – he through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God – Heb 9:14/ Rom 1:4

On one hand, the lamb of God should be without blemish, and as He is the Lord from heaven – 1Cor 15:47 – KJV – He is without blemish; at the same time, he should possess a mortal/sinful body like our’s to condemn sin in his flesh – Rom 8:3 – and to put off the body of the sins – Col 2:11

If we take away this, then that would mean, he did not conform himself to our low estate and we could judge him that you wouldn’t understand our frailty – whet does the Bible say? Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren – Heb 2:17 – why was it necessary? so that he could make reconciliation for the sins of the people – Heb 2:17 – and that he is able to help those who are tempted – Heb 2:18 – For now he knoweth our frame – Psalm 103:14. Therefore, he mediates and makes intercession for us – Rom 8:34

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deut 30:19 – God preserved a remnant obedient to keep the seed alive.

Jesus Christ is 100% God (fully God) – he is the manifested persona of God (Who, being in the form of God – Phil 2:6 – the express image of His person – Heb 1:3 – Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God – 1Cor 1:24). The Son of God/ The Son of Man is God’s fleshly manifestation to redeem mankind (Immanuel – Isaiah 7:14). Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality –1Tim 6:14-16; But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting – Micah 5:2; Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting – Isaiah 63:16; Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am – John 8:58 – He is God in the flesh, and not God in Christ – God revealed Himself as Christ; Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said – John 10:34. The Spirit of Christ, which was in them (the O.T Prophets)(1Pet 1:10,11).

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation* (He who was one in essence with God, who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, the wisdom and the power of God, chose to give up His stature for the love of man – John 1:1/14:9/17:5/1Cor 1:24/Heb 1:3 – He was so selfless to share His estate with mankind and to make us His brethren – He was fully God that the Father could not address Him in any other way Isaiah 9:6/ John 1/1Tim 3:16/Titus 2:13/1John 5:20 – He was not the second person in “the Trinity” as many presume, but God himself – As the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father John 15: 26/John 4:24/1Cor 2:11 – So the Son is of the Father – He who was one with God made himself of no reputation (detached from the Father), to be made in the likeness of men (he humbled himself and became obedient/submissive – Phil 2:8/ John 5:30/ 6:38/1Cor 15:28 – subjection to God will continue even after Millennium), thus ensuring that God the Father alone becomes the object of veneration and not him. His main purpose was to glorify the Father – John 12:28 – Now we could say, there is a second person in the Godhead – A Son is given – Isaiah 9:6 – That is why it is written: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ –1John 1:3 – The Holy Spirit and the Father are of one substance – John 4:24/1Cor 2:11/Matt 1:18an indivisible entity. God is not three (trinitybut the Godhead has three persons with three distinct characteristics yet one God – Eph 4:4-6 – The Son, now is a glorified man and at the same time he is “the great God and Savior Jesus Christ” – Titus 2:13 – And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness (Christ is that mystery) –1Tim 3:16 – For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily and he is the head of all principality and power – Col 2:9,10 – Though He is God, he continues to be known as the Son of man Rev 1:13/14:14 –giving all glory to God by continuing a son – Thou art my Son, this day (a particular dayhave I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son – Heb 1:5/5:5/Acts 13:33/Psalms 2:7 – a body hast thou prepared me – Heb 10:5 – This is what was taken from man – the son of man – out of Egypt have I called my sonMatt 2:15/Ps 80:8/John 15:5 Jesus and Israel the son has a connectionHosea 11:1/Exodus 4: 22,23/Jeremiah 31:9 – Though “the Son” idea was in the bosom of the Father (eternally existing) – John 1:18he was brought forth into reality/visible world when the fullness of the time was come – he shall be called the Son of the HighestLuke 1:32/Gal 4:4 – Until then his title was “the Word ” and the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us – John 1:1,14 – God hath exalted one chosen out of the people – Ps 89:19 – I will make him my first-born Ps 89:27 – the righteous man from the east – Isaiah 41:2 – And this man, he continues ever – Heb 7:24 – My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all – John 10: 29 – for my Father is greater than I John 14:28 – My Father and your Father and my God and your God – John 20:17/Rom 15: 6 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee – Ps 22:22 – Though God hath highly exalted his name above all names, till his enemies be made his footstoolPhil 2:9/ 1Pet 3:22/1Cor 15:28he will yet continue relying in the glory of the Father Mark 3:38/Matt 16:27 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself – John 5:26 – There is but, One God (not Trinity, but Triunity – Triune Godand Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all – Eph 1:3,17/ 3:14/ 4:6/1Tim 2:5), *and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men (Rom 8:3/Heb 4:15/5:8): and being found in fashion as a man (reliant – John 5:19,30/Heb 5:7), he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Phil 2:5-8). Now one can imagine how precious our redemption is to our God! God spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all (as a ransom for many) – Rom 8:32/1Tim 2:6/ Mark 10:45 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life – John 3:16.

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all – Eph 4:6 – No one has ever seen God nor can anyone see Him –1John 4:12/1Tim 6:16/Ex 33:20 – even the angels for the first time saw God in Christ, I presume –1Tim 3:16 – for no creature has the caliber to see God and live – from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away – Rev 20:11.

Being found in fashion as a man – Phil 2:8 – that is, the brightness of God’s glory and the express image of His person – Heb 1:3, the Word – John 1:1,14 – was made flesh and dwelt among us – that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God – Luke 1:35.

God is a Spirit – John 4:24 – Now God has a human body (flesh and blood – John 20:27) for the sole purpose of redeeming man and to make us his brethren and children of God – Heb 2:11-14/1John 3:9,10/Eph 5:1/Gal 3:26/Rom 8:14-17/9:26 – not to mention, a spiritual house to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ; and a holy temple for an habitation of God through the Spirit –1Pet 2:5/Eph 2:21,22. God hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ – 2Cor 5:18 – for without shedding of blood there is no remission – Heb 9:22/Col 1:14. After the redemptive work of God is complete, then the Son himself shall be subject unto him that put all things under him that God may be all in all –1Cor 15:28.

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels, but he took on him the seed of Abraham (Christ). For unto us a child is born (the seed of David – the mortal body 2Tim 2:8/Rom 1:3/John 7:42/Acts 2:30/Ps 132:11/Heb 10:5 – a sinful flesh/the soul of man Rom 8:3/Heb 4:15 – God hath exalted one chosen out of the people Ps 89:19), unto us a son is given (the seed of Abraham – that holy thing Luke 1:35 Christ the Lord from heaven 1Cor 15:47 – to whom the promise was made Gal 3:19)(the mighty God – Isaiah 9:6 the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ – Titus 2:13 – Who is above all John 3:31). Wherefore in all things, it behooved him (expedient/obligatory John 11:50) to be made like unto his brethren* (one might ask why? As the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And to deliver us who through fear of death were all our lifetime subject to bondage and to redeem us to God by his blood – Heb 2: 14,15/Rev 5:9 – Christ the Holy One could never sin – He is a sinless Being, God Almighty could never die – He exists from everlasting to everlasting – But to redeem man, he must shed blood and must experience death to appease Himself – Isaiah 53:11For without shedding of blood is no remission – Heb 9: 22 – Since He is a Spirit, eternal, immortal and invisible – Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto John 4:24/1Tim 1:17/6:16/1John 4:12 – Putting on a sinful flesh was the only manner by which He could unveil Himself and taste death for every man* Heb 2:9 – (for death is the effect of sin, isn’t it? And when it says that “death hath no more dominion over him” Rom 6:9 – and he shall appear the second time without sin – Heb 9:28 – it clearly states that, because of the kind of body that he took upon and was made to be sin for us, death had dominion over him– when he was in the body of his flesh he too had the fear of death – Heb 5:7 – for death was gruesome; it had its sorrows and pangs and snares – Acts 2:24,27/Ps 18:4-6/2Sam 22:6 – the Messianic Psalms reveals what Christ had to endure to liberate us – The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow – Ps 22:12-21/116:3 – from which we are liberated from – Acts 2:24 – Christ hath delivered us from so great a death – 2Cor 1: 10 – the sting of death was sin 1Cor 15:56 – and sin now being condemned in the body of his flesh through death – Rom 8:3 – now is brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory – O death, where is thy sting? 1Cor 15:54,55) – *thus it behooved him to be made like unto us – it was expedient that one man should die – John 11:50 – Being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death – Phil 2:6-8 – he was made a sin and in a sense, accursed of God and was numbered with the transgressors – Isaiah 53:12 – by taking part with us (in all things) – 2Cor 5:21/ Heb 2:16,17/4:15/Gal 3:13 – “Emmanuel” means, God with us Matt 1:23), *that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted* (due to the fact that he took upon him the sinful flesh – Rom 8:3/Heb 2:17,18/ 4:15 – God hath made him, who knew no sin to be sin for us – 2Cor 5:21/1John 3:5/Heb 9:28 – he was smitten/ stricken of God – the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all – he was numbered (counted) with the transgressors – Isaiah 53:4,6,12 –he endured the fierce wrath/terrors of God – Ps 89:38/88:15,16 – in His wrath God hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground and made his glory to cease and cast his throne down to the ground as well – Ps 89:39,44 – utterly cut off from God – Ps 88:6-8,16 – That particular day – Gal 4:4 – the day when God begat Jesus of Nazareth (the seed of Abraham – according to the spirit – Acts 13:33/Ps 2:7/Heb 1:5/Gal 3:16 – and according to the flesh/body, of the fruit of the loins of David (a sworn oath by the Lord)(the Lord God preserved the holy line of descent) – Acts 2:30/Ps 132:11 – and when the fullness of the time was come, the Word was made flesh – John 1:14/Gal 4:4 – who is the horn of David – Ps 132:17 – a root of Jesse – Isaiah 11:1,10/Rom 15:12 – it is evident that the Lord sprang out of Judah – Heb 7:14 – he thus bore our sins in his body –1Pet 2:24), *he is able to succor them that are tempted – Heb 2:16-18. When He said, “he knows our frame” – Ps 103:14 – he meant that by becoming one among us – God was made flesh – he is now able to assist us – Heb 2:18/4:15 – he was a ransom for us, though you are not mindful of it –1Tim 2:6/Matt 20:28. You make God a liar, if you don’t believe the witness of God, which he hath testified of His Son –1John 5:9-11.

Christian Hamartiology describes SIN as an act of offence against God by despising his persons and Christian biblical law, and by injuring others. In Christian views it is an evil human act, which violates the rational nature of man as well as God’s nature and his eternal law. According to the classical definition of St. Augustine of Hippo sin is “a word, deed, or desire in opposition to the eternal law of God. Other Christian scholars understand sin to be fundamentally relational—a loss of love for the Christian God and an elevation of self-love (“concupiscence”, in this sense), as was later propounded by Augustine in his debate with the Pelagians – Wikipedia

It is written, “He did no sin” –1Pet 2:22/Heb 4:15, it then means, he through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God/ he was made perfect according to the flesh – Heb 2:10/5:8/9:14. A centurion, probably Cornelius, said – Acts 10:1 – He was a righteous man! Luke 23:47 – Because Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled the law and he was approved of God/ he pleased God the Father – Matt 5:17/2Pet 1:17/Acts 2:22. “Righteous” not in the sense that he was perfect – he was made perfect according to the flesh – Heb 2:10/5:8,9 – he was crucified through weakness – 2Cor 13:4 – a mortal man –1Cor 15:43, 44 – Example – And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless – Luke 1:6.

Lord God Almighty (Revelation 4:8/11:17/15:3)(Gen 17:1/John 8:58) – But to us, there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him (1 Corinthians 8:6) – our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:11)- Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit (Acts 7:59) – they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is (Acts 4:24) – Lord our God (Revelation 19:1) – There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:4-6 – NOT, the Lord is separate from God, but He is Lord God Almighty and He is ONE; but now, God the GREAT SPIRIT (John 4:24 – there is One Spirit – Eph 4:4 – Now the Lord is that Spirit 2 Cor 3:17/1Pet 1:10) dwells in a glorified flesh/body taken from mortal man and He chose to call Himself IMMANUEL or YESU KRISTO or Jesus Christ. The Word (who was God (Elohimand was with God) was made flesh (sinful flesh – Rom 8:3/Heb 2:17/4:15/ 5:8,9/9:14/Deut 18:18) and dwelt among us (John 1:14). And truly our fellowship is with the Father (the Great Spirit), and with his Son Jesus Christ (1 John 1:3)(the earthly body that the Word, the power of God and the wisdom of God – 1Cor 1:24, took upon). The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour (2 Samuel 22:3) – O God of Israel, the Saviour (Isaiah 45:15) – For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour (Isaiah 43:3) – I the Lord am thy Saviour (Isaiah 60:16) – For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour (Isaiah 43:3) – a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me (Isaiah 45:21) – I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me (Hosea 13:4) – God my Saviour (Luke 1:47) – For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:11) – Christ, the Saviour of the world (John 4:42) – Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins (Acts 5:31) – Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus (Acts 13:23) – our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 1:1) – God our Saviour (1 Timothy 2:3) – we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men (1 Timothy 4:10) – the commandment of God our Saviour (Titus 1:3) – adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour (Titus 2:10) – the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ (Titus 2:13) – the kindness and love of God our Saviourtoward man appeared (Titus 3:4) – To the only wise God our Saviour (Jude 1:25). And when they saw him, they worshipped him (Matthew 28:17)- Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God (Matthew 14:33) – And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty – Revelation 11:16-17 – KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS (Revelation 19:16) – God and our Saviour Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:1) –

Who, being in the form of God (the Creator person Himself – John 1:3 – Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person – Hebrews 1:3 – homoousios (“of the same essence as”) the Father – the Word was with God – John 1:1,2 – the Word was God (Elohim) – John 1:1 – the Word was with God – the Word was made flesh (Immanuel) – John 1:14/Isaiah 7:14 – Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:23) – God (Elohim) manifest in the flesh – 1 Tim 3:16 – being made so much better than the angels – Heb 1:4 – he was come from God – John 13:3, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Phil 2:6

God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father (2 John 1:3)

The Lord is a Man

In Joshua 5:13-15 the Lord appears to Joshua exactly as Exodus 15:3 says, as a literal Man of war.

In this passage, Joshua is found worshiping a Man (Joshua 5:14). As the Scripture says, “a Man stood opposite him . . . And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped.” Matthew 4:10 says, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.” Joshua in no way breached this command because the Man he worshiped was the Lord God. This is clear by what is said in verse 15; “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy” (compare verse 15 with Exodus 3:5). Also, the verses following are the words of the Lord, Yehovah, speaking to Joshua (Joshua 6:2).

Scripture teaches that the Son of God is a Man, both before the incarnation (Zechariah 6:12/13:7/John 6:62; 1 Corinthians 15:47/Hebrews 13:8), and after (Acts 7:56/13:38/ Romans 5:15/Hebrews 2:17/10:12/1Timothy 2:5). He is also God (Micah 5:2/John 1:1/8:58/1 John 5:20). So, in Jesus Christ we see the truth of Exodus 15:3. The Lord Jesus Christ is a Man (1Timothy 2:5). He is a Man of war (Revelation 19:11-21) – atruechurch.info

So God created man in His own image (literally) – Gen 1:26. No other creatures can boast of this identification – no wonder the Devil is jealous and furious over this creature called “Man”.

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have (Luke 24:39)

I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir (Isaiah 13:12)

For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah – Heb 7:14 – ⏋

But this man, because he continueth ever – Heb 7:24 – For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God – Heb 5:1 – The Lord is a man of war – Exodus 15:3.

Some say, this is “Anthropomorphism” which is but attributing the human traits and emotions to the one who was God (John 1:1,14), which Rom 1:23 speaks of. The context to this verse is about that Great Spirit, God our heavenly Father – John 4:24/10:29/14:28/1Cor 8:6/15:28/Matt 6:32 – God is not a man, that he should lie – Numbers 23:19. He is incorruptible, the glory which he had (the co-equal – co-eternal of One substance with God – John 5:18/Phil 2:6) before he took upon the body of this flesh – John 17:5. We are not alluding to his Divine side at all – but the fact that He took upon Him the nature of man, a sinful nature is incontrovertible – Rom 8:3 – a perishable one, indeed – who in all points tempted, yet without sin – Heb 4:15 – that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest – Heb 2:17 – The Messianic Psalms speaks of it – and physician Luke in the book of Acts reiterates it: neither wilt thou suffer Thine Holy One to see corruption – Ps 16:10/Acts 2: 27,31/13:35 – In three days God has had to raise Jesus from the dead (Gal 1:1/1Pet 1: 21/Heb 11:19/13:20/Rom 6:4/Acts 3:15/4:10 – the first-born from the dead – that in all things he might have the preeminence Col 1:18) to accomplish his task of redeeming mankind – For the redemption of their soul is precious – Ps 49:8/Luke 24:46/1Cor 15:12-21. Wherefore in all things it behooved him (obligatory, required, incumbent, expedient) to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people – Her 2:17/John 11:50/ 18:14 – the sinless One/the Holy One and the Just – was made to be sin – 2Cor 5:21 – by taking upon him the nature of man – that’s why – Who in the days of his flesh when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared – Heb 5:7,8. It was sown in corruption; it was raised in incorruption: It was sown in dishonor; it was raised in glory: it was sown in weakness; it was raised in power (and declared to be the Son of God with Power – Rom 1:4): It was sown a natural body; it was raised a spiritual body –1Cor 15:42-44

For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world and go to the Father.

John 16:27,28 – The Father and Son – Let us make man in our image – Gen 1:26/John 1:1-3 – and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ -1John 1:3. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself (the express image of His person  Heb 1:3 – he is begotten of his Father’s own substance – he was not created like any other creatures, angels and such – Being made so much better than the angels – For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the first-begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him – And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angel’s spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom – Heb 1:1-8 – The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace – Isaiah 9:6); And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man – John 5:26. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh – 1Tim 3:16 – the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ – Titus 2:13.

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead – 1Cor 15:21

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest – Isaiah 32:1-2

First Chronicles looks back on the faithfulness of God to his people in the entire period from Adam (Chronicles 1:1) to David (Chronicles 3:1) and even beyond (Chronicles 3:10-24/9:1-34), indicating the steadfastness of God’s purpose in preparing for the coming of the Messiah as the offspring of Adam (Chronicles 1:1/Gen 3:15Luke 3:38), offspring of Abraham (1 Chronicles 1:28/Gal 3:16), and offspring of David (1 Chronicles 3:1/17:11,14/ Luke 3:23-38; Acts 13:23) – http://www.monergism.com

He is not the great descendant of Adam/Abraham/David – Matt 1:6-16 – if his body is heavenly.

For the earth will not be clean from the blood which has been shed upon it; for (only) through the blood of him that shed it will the earth be purified throughout all its generations – the book of Jubilees

Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again (Matthew 27:63)

No man can see God and live – hence, God had to begat His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh – and it pleased the Father that in Him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily – he who hath the Son hath life –

For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the Lord (Proverbs 8:35)

He is the Spirit of Yahweh – Isaiah 40:13 – Now the Lord is that Spirit – 2 Cor 3:17 – If the Lord is not the Spirit – how can we say that he dwells in us? Christ in you, the hope of glory – Col 1:27 – Know ye, not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you – 2 Cor 13:5 – He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things – Eph 4:10 – he is one in essence with God – I and the Father are One – John 10:30/14:8-11 – In Him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily – Col 1:19/2:9 – Word was with God and the Word was God – the Word was made flesh – John 1 – He is the Spirit of truth – John 14:17 – grace and truth came by Jesus Christ – John 1:17 – the second man is the Lord from heaven –1 Cor 15:47 –

Holy Ghost is the Father! Matt 1:18

And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. (John 21:25)

There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death (Ecclesiastes 8:8) – but this man had the power – I lay down my life, that I might take it again (John 10:17) – No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again (John 10:18)

Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter. (Psalm 45:6)
